AAPA Lands Permit System (ALPS)

Please be advised that the Great Central Road is currently under repair and therefore all travellers must exercise extreme caution when travelling this route.

People passing through proclaimed Aboriginal Lands Trust reserves and visiting communities must obtain an Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority (AAPA) Lands Permit to comply with the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority Act 1972.

ALPS Collection Notice

The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (Department) or its relevant Information Privacy Principle entities (IPP entities) within are obliged under the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 (PRIS Act) to advise you of certain matters when collecting your personal information. This collection notice sets out those matters and explains how we will manage the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. The definitions of personal information and sensitive personal information can be found in the PRIS Act.

The Department is collecting your information to process your application for a Transit Permit to travel through lands proclaimed by the Governor Under Part III of the AAPA Act (Reserved Lands).
