AAPA Lands Permit System (ALPS)

People passing through proclaimed Aboriginal Lands Trust reserves and visiting communities must obtain an Aboriginal Planning Authority (AAPA) Lands Permit to comply with the Aboriginal Affairs Authority Act 1972.

Please direct any queries to the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage on 1300 651 077 or +61 8 6551 8000 or alps@dplh.wa.gov.au

Permit applicants are required to read the 'permit information' before proceeding with an application.

Refer to the ALPS User Guide for step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the system.

Note: Entry to reserve(s) for prospecting purposes is not permitted, separate approval is required from the Aboriginal Lands Trust board.

There are a number of roads on ALT Estates accessible only by a 4WD vehicle.

Much of the ALT Estate is located in remote areas. For safety reasons, we recommend advising others of your travel plans.

Please select how you would like the Permit to be sent to you. Please enter your email/postal address or fax number carefully to ensure the successful delivery of your permit.

Select 'Back' to review your application.

For queries relating permit applications, please contact the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage on 1300 651 077 or +61 8 6551 8000 or by email to alps@dplh.wa.gov.au
